Welcome!!  

 

My name is Laura, and this is my dog Red. In 2022, I sold everything I owned and she and I hit the road in a 21' travel trailer. I took her everywhere with me, until she spent some time on our friend's farm in Kentucky and decided to retire from the road and live the good life.

Although I miss her, solo traveling has opened up a lot of possibilities for me and my goal is to embrace them!

 

Like many people around the world, COVID had a huge impact on me and my life choices. 

​

When lockdowns were put in place back then, I was at it full-time.  Full-time job. Full-time student. Full-time single foster parent. Full-time homeowner and farm manager.  Full-time volunteer. I share more of this story in some of my blog posts, but for now the takeaway is that I never imagined then my life would not be lived on my Rose Blossom Farm, peacefully tucked away in Ocala, FL.

When everything stopped and I was forced to slow down, just like so many others, I started to question everything. What am I doing?  Where am I trying to go? What am I trying to prove, and who am I trying to prove it to? What was genuinely important to me? If it all ended tomorrow, what would be my regrets? 

​

A little mid-life crisis, if you will...

I couldn't really answer any of those questions at the time and I'm not sure exactly what happened or when, but I do know that at some point I realized I needed to make some changes.

 

I didn't want to just exist anymore.  I wanted to live...I wanted to do more.

This website is dedicated to hopes and dreams, the lessons learned, all the magical experiences along the way, and the many opportunities yet to come.
